A Walrus

After departing Hooker Island en route to Wilczek Island, we spotted this Atlantic walrus (Odobenus rosmarus) swimming in the open sea. It had already passed the ship by the time I got on deck to take this photo, and was rather distant, so this isn't a great shot, but it's the only walrus we saw, so it'll have to do. With a bit of imagination, you can pick up a hint of a tusk at the right and the eye.
