Just a note to say thanks to the tree walk for their recent visit to Dromcollogher. Dromcollogher is the home of Ireland's first Co-op and won the 1996 Better Ireland Award for Community and Enterprise Development. It has a restored the Co-op Creamery in the town back to what it would have looked like back in 1889 when it first opened . We also have and exhibition on the history of Co-ops in Ireland and a sellection of videos on Co-op and the Dairy industry. It also has Ireland's only full time course in Organic Horticulture. I would like to wish the tree walk the best of luck in all their endeavours and hope to see them next year !!!
