St. Brigid's High School, Armagh

March 27th, 1996

Today 2 representatives from the Tree Walk visited our school and gave an interesting talk to 2nd year and 4th year classes. We were interested to learn how to take cuttings, how to plant trees, and how important trees are to our environment. The representatives found a ready audience in St. Brigids as we have recently planted 660 native trees in the school grounds. We were glad to have another sessile oak planted by 2 keen and enthusiastic young men.
