Peter Moore has been teaching religious studies at the University
of Kent in England since 1972, having studied as a doctoral student
under Ninian Smart at the University of Lancaster (UK).  He has a
special interest in mysticism and religious experience, and  
now runs a multidisciplinary coursework MA on this topic.
Other interests include: Indian religions, especially Buddhism;
problems of religious pluralism; sacred art and symbolism 
(especially in Christian tradition); and the interface between
religion and parapsychology.  He teaches a variety of undergraduate
courses involving these subjects, and also runs three computer
discussion lists: religious-studies-uk@mailbase.ac.uk,
